In the above video clip, Van Jones tells his audience that the “white polluters” are poisoning minority neighborhoods because they aren’t interested in social justice for blacks. This kind of statement is very telling because here we see a component of the results of reverse discrimination and at the expense of the middle class.
So when Jones and those like him talk about changing the entire system we do wonder what the underlying agenda truly is. Is it political or is it a social agenda, for example? Or, could it be that it is both, and in this wise: He sells his agenda to unsuspecting vulnerable youth, gets them involved, uses them to do the hard leg work, the end result being a whole new system meant to make the rich richer no matter what their color is. Cause folks, business is business and the name of the game is, was and always will be power in the hands of the few at the expense of the many.
It’s all about greed and power. And that’s it, in a nutshell. It’s not about you and it’s not about me… It’s all about THEM! It’s about big business and corrupt politicians and their lobbyists. So if there is any shift in power, this type of marketing and selling technique will shift the power from you to them, to the fat cats of the world and the good old boys club. Cause the plain simple truth is—money is power! And that is not what we see in the faces of the young, the young whose hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow is being used and is sure to crumble through the midst of time in the same way that the wind tosses around the shifting sands. It always does because power corrupts. Always has, always will.
