A few days ago, while giving a speech in San Francisco, our dear leader said the following:
“I’m not tired. I’m not guitting. You can throw anything at me… So keep it coming. I’m just getting started,” he said.
And yeah, Mr Obama, you’re still in campaign mode. So what’s the matter with this picture? Do you think it’s about time someone tell this man that he already won the election. Do you think someone should tell this man that he start acting like our president and less like a salesman. Unless… dare I say it: Maybe he is. Maybe he is Nancy Pelosi’s salesman, sent out to do her bidding.
Sure seems like it is. Especially when he’s still pitching for a Public Option that no one wants except Nancy Pelosi, the House democrats and an even smaller number of senatorial democrats.
There are currently five bills in the works; two in the House and three in the senate including the Baucus Bill which doesn’t have a Public Option. What will emerge as the final draft is anybody’s guess because the committee headed by Harry Reid is meeting secretly behind closed doors. And this from a man who promised us transparency and openness. But what we are getting are lies, falsehoods and deception.
All that we can glean is that what emerges will be a two trillion dollar bill (thank you Mr Reid for letting us know). To make it deficit nuetral about 500 billion will come from medicare and medicaid, they intending to slash the medicare advantage program. Small business might see a 40% increase; and oh yeah… all those young folks will either be forced to join or pay a hefty fine.
So much for, “You will not see one single dime of you taxes increase under my administration.” Who is he kidding? If it’s not in taxes then the insurance companies and businesses will just pass their overhead along to us. So whether we are paying out of our left pocket or right, we will bare the burden of Obama’s attempt to transform us into his idea of a socialized nation.
But I degree…
Why does a man who says out of one side of his mouth you can throw anything at him send out his two main henchmen David Axelrod and Ramos Emanuel to discredit FoxNews by suggesting that the other media outlets not follow their lead in actually reporting the news instead of hiding or covering it up?
Could it be that he is worried?
You bet he is, because his poll numbers are slipping. It would seem that the man with the golden tongue has two left feet when it comes to policy.
So yeah… when it comes to covering the news and getting the truth out to the folks… media does matter!
